The Compass is the student-run news site of Falmouth High School. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of journalism while being a voice for the student body. We are guided by the following tenets:

• Seek the truth and report it.
• Be accountable and transparent.
• Act independently and honestly.
• Serve the student body while doing no harm.

All content is decided on by the staff of The Compass, under the guidance of the faculty adviser, Mrs. Shelley Abreu. Opinions expressed in The Compass are not necessarily the opinions of the district, administration, staff, or student body.

We welcome respectful discourse through comments and letters to the editor and staff. Being that The Compass is a student-run publication, learning is part of the process of publishing. Because we are dedicated to truth and accuracy, please let us know if you notice any errors or mistakes in our publication, and we will make a correction if appropriate.
